Crown Seniors & Australian Netball Diamonds - 2009 & 2010

In September 2009, the Crown Senior team performed their Rhythmic routine at one of the International Test Matches (Australia vs. New Zealand) as part of the pre-match entertainment at Hi-Sense Arena.
The girls were fantastic ambassadors for calisthenics.

In addition, 3 members of the Senior team and 2 members of the Intermediate team have travelled around Australia performing at various Australian Netball matches in the same Test Series, as cheerleaders and mascots, with Carolyn (a member of the senior team) performing the Australian National Anthem at every test match.

In 2010, Crown girls have again been involved with the Australian Netball Diamonds and the International Test Series. Carolyn Archibald, Lauren Thatcher, Laura Tutin and Georgia Murphy will be dancing at the test series as art of pre match entertainment. Carolyn and Georgia will also be singing the new
"Diamond Girl" song, which has music and lyrics written and produced by Carolyn herself!

The song can be viewed below, featuring a number of Crown Sub Juniors, Juniors and Intermediates dancing and being performed by Carolyn. Well done girls!

Crown Sub Juniors/Juniors & Melbourne Tigers/span>

In 2009, members of Crown's Sub Junior & Junior teams performed at Melbourne Tigers matches as cheerleaders. This was a great opportunity for the girls to learn some new skills, perform to a different type of audience, while having a lot of fun!

The Footy Show

In August 2007, the Crown Seniors were asked to appear on Channel 9's 'The Footy Show', to showcase Calisthenics. Below is the video of their performance.

America Tour 07/08

December 2007/January 2008 saw some of our Inters and Seniors head off to the United States of America on a Calisthenic Tour.

Accompanied by Tracey, Narelle, family members and others, they were able to showcase Calisthenics to the people of America. Below is a cut down version of their performance at Disneyland. Their actual performance was over 20 minutes long!!
